چکیده
Zinc plays an important role in the regulation of many cellular functions; it is a signaling molecule involved transduction several cascades response to intra and extracellular stimuli. Labile zinc small fraction total intracellular zinc, that loosely bound proteins easily interchangeable. At level, molecules can bind labile promote its passage across lipophilic membranes. Such are known as ionophores. Several these compounds scientific literature, but most them be harmful human health therefore not allowed for medical use. We here performed theoretical three-dimensional study ionophores, together with computational energetic propose some dietary flavonoids, glutathione amino acids could form complexes facilitate transport possible biological implications potential benefits natural compounds. The based on obtaining molecular conformational structure lowest energy content. discovery novel substances act ionophores attractive research topic offers exciting opportunities medicinal chemistry. promising candidates drug design provide new solutions conditions diseases related deficiency or impairment derived from dysregulation this metal.

Cytotoxic Phosphinoarsino and Diphosphino Pd(II) Complexes of Thiolate Amino Acids and Glutathione
The novel complexes [Pd(L-L')(SR)Cl] where L-L' is Ph(2)PCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2) (dppe) or Ph(2)AsCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2) (dadpe) and RSH is glutathione, L-cysteine, or N-acetyl-L-cysteine, have been prepared and characterised. Their structures in the solid-state and in solution are discussed. The introduction of cysteine or glutathione as a ligand in these complexes greatly improved their aqueous solubility...
متن کاملTheoretical study of the solvent effects on the thermodynamic functions of Alanine and Valine Amino Acids
Using Gaussian 03, software the thermodynamic functions such as Gibbs free energy, G, Enthalpy, H, and Entropy, S, of Alanine and Valine amino acids were theoretically studied at different solvents. First, the Density Functional Theory (B3LYP) level with 3-21G, 6-31G and 6-31+G basis sets were employed to optimization of isolated Alanine and Valine amino acids in the gas phase. Moreover, Vib...
متن کاملZinc-amino acid complexes for swine.
Two experiments were conducted to determine the effect of sources of dietary zinc on gain, feed conversion and blood and bone traits of swine. In the first experiment 96 pigs were used in a 28-d study. The pigs were fed diets with no supplemental Zn or with either 9 or 12 ppm supplemental Zn from zinc sulfate (ZnSO4), zinc methionine (ZnMet) or zinc methionine with picolinic acid (ZnMet w/PA), ...

The thermodynamic functions such as enthalpy (H), Gibbs free energy (G) and entropy (S) of Serineand Threonine amino acids were theoretically studied at different condition (solvents andtemperatures) by using Gussian o3, software. First, the structural optimization of isolated Serine andThreonine were done in the gas phase by using the Hartree-Fock (HF) level of theory with 3-21G, 6-31G and 6-3...
